Calibrate VSS Sensors
Now we have our inputs connected, we need to first drive the car and check that we indeed get valid VSS data, confirming that our wiring and sensors are working.
Open the "VSS/gear Settings" (Under System in the tree view) as well as the driven and undriven VSS DROs (a new tab is helpful here under View, Layout Manager menu):

For mode, you select pulses per mile or per kilometre.
Next, simply drive the car with an independent, (ie GPS) Speedo, and change the driven/undriven Pulses per Distance such that your VSS speeds read correctly. Your driven/un-driven numbers may differ due to perhaps being read prior to the diff on the driven and direct from the wheel on the undriven etc.
If you find the readouts to be "jittery" you can also enable or disable Filtering as required.
If you know your gear and final ratios, now is also a good time to enter them (they are used by other algorithms such as gear cut).
Move on to Setting up the Traction Control Activation Conditions.
