Note you can use either VR (variable reluctance) or 5V Hall effect traction control/vehicle speed sensors directly into the ECU. You choice will be base on the spare inputs you have on your ECU (for example, CAM A can be used as VR input if you are not using it for engine position tracking etc).


Select your Drive and Un-Driven VSS channels in your IO Setup "Input Settings" as shown below (you're choice may differ as to which connections. In our example, we are using 2x HALL sensors so they are wired to the DIGITAL input channels):




Next we need to calibrate our inputs.
