Traction Control Activation Conditions
The activation conditions for traction control to take effect are defined in the Traction COntrol Settings Driver (under Traction Control in Tree View).

An override for enabling/disabling traction control is given in the "Enabled" drop down.
Also, you can override the TC module externally by setting a digital input pin to "TC Disable SW" and then connecting this chosen wire to ground via a toggle switch - set the mode to High (open circuit) or Low (connected to Ground) in the box below.. It can also be CAN Switched for OEM streams that report traction override over CAN (such as the Miata/MX-5 Mk3) which is available in a future update.
Next, be sure to set your minimum RPM, Throttle Position and Vehicle Speed (VSS) - the TC wont become active until those conditions are met.
The Max Cut for either Ignition (ign) or fuel (inj) can be set - i.e how many events should be cut from the normal "100%" running commanded by the maps.
The Max Ign Retard acts as a soft limiter cap, in degrees of the timing that the system will pull to try and reduce torque.
The Return rate is percent per second that the system will recover to normal operation once slip is no longer detected.
The PID settings are used to fine tune the cut rate ramp - this should be carried out by an experienced tuner who is used to PID setup. A higher P will make the cut rate overshoot, and the I term can be used to smooth this approach rate to stop, this. Too low a P and the cut may never catch up with the slip rate. (Please refer to PID tuning guides).
Now move on to the basic setup guide.
