Plug-in ECUs

Our Plug-in range is perfect for those modifying a stock vehicle and looking to get the best performance from their installed hardware such as turbo kit, supercharger or ITBs.
Our Plug-in ECUs are a direct replacement for the car’s factory ECU, simply unplug the factory computer and swap it out with the new system. Depending on the model of the car, this will either be a circuit board that you fit into the stock ECU case or an ECU in its own enclosure with a patch harness.

Our Wire-in range is ideal if you are planning an engine swap or are looking to replace a stock ECU and harness for something more modern.

Our kits come with either a choice of fully terminated harnesses to suit a range of engines, or for other engines, you can build a harness from an unterminated/colour coded wire ‘tails’.

Motorsport Electronics Ltd was born in 2010 from the collaboration of two software and electronics engineers tasked with the creation of a bespoke ECU for a Le Mans prototype engine.  We were able to implement and build on the technology developed during this project, allowing us to bring to the fast-road/race market advanced engine management systems at reasonable prices.
